Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Regular Internal Cleaning
Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 liter of water). Rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid using detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products, or wax polishes as they can damage the surface and leave a strong smell.
External Cleaning
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect from the electrical supply. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Defrosting Maintenance
The refrigerator automatically defrosts every time the compressor stops. Regularly clean the water discharge hole situated under the vegetable drawers to avoid defrost water overflowing and dripping onto the food.
Temperature Control
Adjust the thermostat to achieve the correct temperature. Consider the room temperature, frequency of door opening, and the amount of food stored. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize before making further changes.
Avoiding Obstructions
Ensure air ventilation is not obstructed. Keep the appliance away from heat sources like cookers and radiators to maintain efficiency.
